Omar Ibn El-Khattab Masjid

Masjid Omar was established in 1984 by former Ohio State University graduate students; the idea began in 1979 when nine students started praying together in an apartment. Programs are offered in English, Arabic and Urdu and include Quran, tafseer and tajweed classes and a weekend Islamic program for children. The brothers' prayer area is on the first floor and the sisters' prayer area is on the second floor, with a parking lot and street parking on Riverview Drive.
